Crawling and carving pumpkins

We carved pumpkins last night with Angie and Brady-- Henry wasn't shy at all! I just let him do whatever he wanted-- he went right for the bowl of goo and then stuck his arm in Angie's pumpkin-- glad I got the pic, it was so funny to watch him!

He's crawling! We thought he'd do this a while ago, as he was showing a lot of signs, but now finally he's crawling! Good job sweetie pie!

Playing in the leaves at the booya last weekend -- it looks like he's eating the leaves, but he wasn't.. just teasing us! : )

under the table again

We had a fun weekend. Saturday we went to a Booya at Brendon's aunt and uncles house- that's where the pictures with the leaves are. Then we had some friends over to watch some UFC. Henry was such a good boy all weekend and even learned a new trick.. he's crawling! Yeah Henry! He got up on his hands and knee's to crawl (rather than the army crawl) he did it and Brendon and I both looked at each other and then a couple minutes later he did it again and I got it on video. I tried to post it but it wasn't working, so I'll have to post it later. Good job baby Henry! : )

Beth is getting married!

Yeah- Beth and Ryan are getting married! Angie hosted a Tastefully Simple party on Sunday afternoon and as I was at the table putting my order in, Beth goes into her purse and puts a ring on and shows Angie-- Angie starts screaming, I look over and start screaming! Wahoo! It's a BEAUTIFUL ring! Beth said she picked out the ring and Ryan picked out the stone. I think they've got July 18th pretty well set for the date.

So mom wasn't at this party because she wasn't feeling well-- so Angie called her and said she needed her and had to come up-- mom didn't want to and Angie could tell, but Angie got her there. I went outside and mom said - can't I just stay in the car... what does she need. Finally we got her in the house and being we had food all around from the Tastefully Simple Party- we told Beth to offer mom a brownie... so Beth (with her left hand of course) told mom to take the brownie-- mom is like WHY? And I go TAKE the brownie-- then mom saw it!! Here is the string of photo's I managed to get! Pretty good shots I think!

Oh now she see's it!

This is mom doing her famous "Happy Dance". She breaks this out anytime someone is getting married or having a baby!

Then we had to go find dad... we thought he was in the field, so we piled in cars and drove out to the corn field-- I actually drove through the field trying to find him- then figured he was unloading it at home-- so we drove to mom and dads'sand I snapped these pictures.

Ok- had to get some snaps of Henry too. : ) The first two are of Henry and Brady "playing" and then Brady getting mad at me because I made him share his Dinosaurs... The third is when we got Henry a new car seat -- our carrier is only good til 29 inches and 22lbs.. he's still has time before he reaches that weight, but I wanted to be ready. we took it out of the box and he climbed right up there-- it was so cute, I gave him a book!

So tired....

Loves to pull himself up on anything!

Smile sweetie!

Proud mom moment

With Brendon getting a new route at work, the Stillwater route, he's been working really long hours(like 10-12 hours). My mom helps out with getting Henry one night a week and then I try to take off early 1 day a week too. So yesterday (Friday) I went to pick him up and he was busy playing with another little boy and the teachers were changing and feeding some other kids. When I got there one teacher said "we just love Henry so much, he really is just a joy to have here"... ahhh... I'm sooo glad to hear that. I don't know why, but it makes me feel a little better having him there 10 hours a day! Knowing he's happy sets me at ease... I always feel so bad he's there so long, but if he's happy and the teachers all love him, just makes it a little better. He's such a happy mannered kid, it shouldn't really surprise me that he's such a good boy at daycare, but to hear the teachers say it makes me proud of the little bugger... hopefully his happy spirit continues on!

Another teacher came up to me before I walked in Henry's room and asked if I was Henry's mom (she is a pre-school teacher in one of the other rooms) and I said yes, she has a little boy a couple months younger than Henry in the same room. She said Charlie (her boy) just watches Henry all the time and is learning things quickly because of him-- she said she thinks Charlie wants to be just like Henry! It's cute to think that Henry has a buddy already!

I have some more pictures to download... I'll try to get them this weekend.

7 months old

Happy 7 months baby Henry!

I'm trying to think of what is new... his top tooth finally came through a few days ago... those top ones must hurt-- it took forever for it to pop. Henry now has 3 teeth- I suspect the other top one should be making it's way through pretty soon too. For a few weeks he's been babbling "mamma"... or so I liked to think.. it's pretty clear now that it IS mamma! I love hearing it : )

Below are a couple pictures I just love.. it was funny at the Dr last week, they asked if he could sit up without assistance for a short time before falling over... I'm like yah, a couple months ago.. and then I look at the picutures and think what a big boy he is! He's growing and learning things so fast. He loves to walk with holding our hands now.. he even thinks it's funny when you let go for just a second.. he'll start giggling! He pulls himself up on everything -- he started doing this about a month ago and now he's a pro.. yesterday he went into the kitchen and looked at the stairs... I want to keep him as un-interested in those as possible (for now anyway). Since his tooth popped he's actually been sleeping through the night again! (knock on wood) so that would be great if he keeps doing that!

All for now.

Hey Jamison Guertin- wait up!
Check me out!
Hey baby want a ride?!

6 Month Dr visit at almost 7 months

Stats: Weight 19lbs 8 oz (with a partially wet diaper) which is the 69%
Height 27 1/2 inches which is also the 69%
Head 17.5 inches which is 56%

He did well with shots- got 4! He got a dose of the flu shot, and because of that new one we had to wait 20 mins in the waiting room to make sure there were no reaction.. other parents and nurses couldn't believe that he was so happy and smiley after those shots.. all the nurses kept coming out and smiling and saying hi to him... they all say what a cute sweet baby he is ( I know they probably say that about most babies!) but it's nice to hear it!

An update

Today we have Henry's 6 month Dr Appt... I know- it's late, he's almost 7 months already! I like having them on Friday afternoons, so we can be together all weekend if he needs a little extra TLC.
Henry is doing so great, he pulls himself up on everything now and can even walk around his little toy table. He also has this little car then folds up into a walker thing and he took 2 or 3 steps with it. He's pretty fearless -- Brendon and I just laugh at him all the time. He's getting really good at crawling too, he starting to get up off his tummy and then it's funny he'll just pop up to his feet with his hands on the ground-- like a monkey does. I think he'll figure it out pretty soon.

He eats a lot! He has fruit and cereal for breakfast and lunch and veggies and cereal for dinner along with milk all day long of course. We're working our way up to other fun food, but he's not really into anything eles yet... we'll just keep trying.

He hasn't been sleeping all that good lately, he's been getting up at least once in the middle of the night. Usually it's not too bad to get him back to sleep, but every now and then I give in and bring him into bed with us. Henry usually just eats then and falls asleep-- I love cuddling up with him!
We'll see today what his stats are- I'm guessing around 21lbs and who knows how tall. I read something the other night that said "your 8 month old should weigh between 14-17lbs-- if that's true, we have a real chunk---Henry is bigger than that and he's not even 7 months yet- but I love his chunkiness!

Here are some pics from the past few weeks (sorry there are a lot!)
