Parent Teacher Conferences

So we had parent teacher conferences at the Montessori tonight! How funny huh. They were quick and simple. They have a checklist of his developments and review his daily schedule and make suggestions (they do this daily too, but I suppose a review with both parents is good). Then they have a chart that marks milestones and age, Henry is pretty much right on track and a few things he's ahead on- so that's great. They check his social skills, self-help skills, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, and language. He's mostly ahead on gross motor skills and some social skills. Otherwise nothing much new... they said he's a very good boy and love having him! This only took about 10 minutes- but glad we had it. They're going to help start introducing more table food now-- Henry's not very good at eating table food- mostly he just gags- he's pretty sensitive to textures. But the more he tries I think the better it will be. He's eating O's (malt o meal brand of cheerios) in the mornings and also chomping on graham crackers now.. so we're getting there. Next is fruit and veggies. :)


Also- talked to Ashely about deal or no deal.. they changed it back to the night before thanksgiving now. Goodness- it's moved around! But how fun-- I can't wait!
