Our baby Henry is 5 months old today-- wow the time flies! He's getting so big-- where did my baby go?! It's all good-- he's so much fun.
We've ben watching Henry's tooth for a while now, and yesterday my mom felt it when she picked him up from daycare-- you still can't see too much of it, just a little poke through, but it sure is sharp! He's done really well with the teething, I have given him some tylenol but not sure it really helps that much. The Dr said to hold off on Motrin until 6 months- I bet that would help more.
Henry is doing great, he doesn't ever sit still, his legs go a mile a minute! He's getting much better at sitting on his own, he loves to stand against things, he rolls all the time- it's hard to get a diaper on this kids sometimes with all his rolling! He's learned he can spin around on his belly to go grab things, and tries to crawl too- he get's his knees up under him but then either doesn't move or will go backwards a little- then he get's frustrated! He does scooch forward a little bit now and then. He loves the johnny jumper and the exersaucer. He's full of smiles and loves being around people-- it's funny how he'll get a little fussy at night and I'll walk outside with him and instantly he's quiet- or if we go to someone's house and he's never fussy! Funny kid!
Not sure what he weighs or his height right now- but he's out of the 3 month clothes and just about out of the 3-6 month clothes-- we're starting in the 6 month sizes now and size 2 diapers- such a big boy! Now that he's 5 months I think we'll start the rice cereal in a few weeks. The Dr said about 6 months we can start with the rice stuff, so we'll see how that goes!
All for now, I'll post more FFF Days pictures later- Angie had some good ones on her camera. We're also going camping this weekend in Prior Lake- hopefully Henry does well with it all! Should be fun! Henry will get to play with a bunch of kids his age, Axel Rapp is about 2 months older than he and Olivia Morrisey is I think 5 or 6 weeks older - it will be fun to see if they interact with each other at all!
